Seven players showed for this Queens Birthday Special at Largo, but the 1st one blown out was to be Martin, an early tussle with the devils hand proved costly and he never really regained any momentum. He picks up the bagel for being 1st out.Next to hit the rail was host Andy. He ran into a few big hands over the night and lost a chunk with K7 when he flopped 2pr v a set late on. It was always uphill from there, when he ran his top pair into Brian pocket Aces it was all over for him, 5 pts for his troubles.
Next to be busted was Gav in 5th. Brian called the post-flop all-in bet with pocket 5,s after Gav picked up an open ender...the miracle card never arrived and Gav gets 6 pts for his troubles.
It was getting late and blinds were getting a bit meaty so I shove all-in for about 25,000 on Gogs big blind with Ace rag, he calls with pocket 3,s and wins the hand so I was left with 2000 chips - half of a blind.
Next hand I tripled up to 8,000 courtesy of Brian and Joe when Ace high takes it down.
Next hand I jammed all in again with a 10 - 8 and Joe calls called with KQ, a 10 on the flop and its another victory for the worst hand but Joe still has a few chips.
Joe re-raises a button raise from Brian and goes all-in before the flop with A2 v Bri's AK, a 2 on the turn delivers a crippler to Brian - and its another another disgusting suck out.
Brian was next one busted in 4th, I think it may have been the kj v qj hand where the board ran out something like x10jqx river was an ace and the kj just got there.
It was Joe who was the next to be dusted in 3rd , bit unlucky as he was playing role of main bluff catcher at the table - mainly against me - and making a pretty good job of it.
Joe lost 2 big pots, one massive one with QJ v KQ (I think)and was down to loose change when he had his all in bet called by Gogs (I think) AQ v A6 something like that.
Heads up was with me and Gogs. Gogs lost a massive pot early on when he called the All-in shove from me with AQ v his pocket jacks and I spiked the ace. Not long after and the money all went in preflop with Ace 4 v I think Q6. Ace held up.
Four games in and four different winners so far.
Two trip sixes this game but none with 2 sixes in the hand.
