A Cameo appearance from Fiona livened things up a bit but ended in one of the most brutal beats I can remember, and we finally got a winner for the trip six jackpot.
Fiona hit quads early on, and was looking good when she got doubled up by Gav when she called his all-in shove with A 10 with her pocket aces.
Her exit hand was pretty disgusting, I,d raised KQ on the button, Fi called the raise and Martin on the big blind jammed all in. I folded and Fiona calls. Martin turns over KQ and Fi turns over kings. With no kings left in the deck, the only escape route was likely to be some sort of straight, Martins hand was 0.88% to win!!! but the only two queens in the deck made their way out and Fi was first dusted in sixth.
Next out with an unusually early exit was Gav in 5th, can,t mind the exact details but I seem to remember he was caught with his trousers down, making a funky move with 6, 3 or something along those lines...next in the firing line was Gogs. I,m pretty sure it was a bad beat of some kind, usually is when he gets knocked out, surely can,t be long before he takes one down outright. He did make history as the 1st winner of the trip six jackpot - for a massive £5 pay out.
Next out was me, when I had to retire early for third place so unfortunately I missed all the heads up action... but Martin who had been owning the table for most of the night, kept the pressure up from start to finish with generous use of the ALL IN button.
Martin 20 pts £60
Andy 16 pts £25
Nick 12 pts
Gogs 8 pts £5
Gav 4 pts
Fi 0
£5 rolls over to the jackpot

He took down the game to recover from the previous games bagel for a well deserved win and a boost up the table. Andy got his best placing of the season with a nice 2nd place finish a 16pts and a £25 side pot. The League table has opened up a bit.
