Season 2 - Game 1. Nigel Nails 1st Game

The 1st game of the new season kicked off at the Fort Casino.

7 runners started the night optimistically, 7 hours later, too many pizzas and 120 bottles of beer later, Nigel was left as the last man standing clutching the wad of notes.

Heads up Nigel battled back from the short stack position to beat perpetual runner up Andy V into his familiar 2nd place.

Hands Of Pain

1. Gav had to settle for a split pot against Joe despite hitting quad sixes. With 3 sixes being out on the board he came cropper to his own "3 sixes beat everything" rule.
2. Frazer took some cooler-hand pain when he ran his AK ran into Andy's pocket Aces.

A 10 on the flop was a decent start, but a King on the turn swung it back in Andy,s favour, the river card was a 10 and it was all over. Nigel takes pole position in the league.
